The Maid by Nita Prose

Molly - the main character of The Maid by @nitaprose is the kind of employee any company would be thrilled to employ. She is hard-working, dedicated, thorough and above all, loyal. Her perceptions about life and the people around her are both heartwarming and hilarious. When a murder occurs in one of the rooms she cleans her loyalties and naïveté not only entangle her in the investigation but place her as the main suspect. Her journey to clear her name and reveal the killer is pure who-done-it joy.

One of my favorite lines is on page 220 when Molly remembers tried and true advice from her Gran.

“When you believe in yourself, nothing can stop you.”

Don’t let anything stop you from picking up this clever gem. It’s a fun, fresh mystery with a heart.
